relief sculpture by Boris Schatz
(1866-1932), sculptor and painter,
founder of the Bezalel School of Art
in Jerusalem (Israel Sc479).
To commemorate the 300th
anniversary of the Royal Library,
Denmark issued this stamp depicting
an image taken from the 11th-century
Book of Dalby showing St. Mark as a
scribe (Denmark Sc525).
